FAQ
Common questions
Clear expectations build trust. These answers explain what CIP measures, what it does not measure, and how data handling is separated from core scoring.
Is Civic Instinct Profile a partisan label test?
No. CIP is intentionally not a partisan quiz. It measures civic tradeoff patterns across 12 dimensions and presents descriptive archetypes rather than party identity labels.
What does my archetype mean?
Your primary and secondary archetypes summarize which centroid patterns your current response profile most closely resembles. They are interpretive guides, not fixed identities.
Do demographic answers affect my score?
No. Demographics are optional and are kept separate from core scoring. They are intended for aggregate analysis only after your profile value is already delivered.
Can I retake the profile?
Yes. New runs should create new sessions so historical results remain available. This supports version-aware comparison over time instead of overwriting prior outcomes.
What does xAIO PoliSent do with responses?
xAIO PoliSent is the aggregate civic sentiment layer behind CIP. It uses de-identified pattern analysis to understand civic instincts at group level rather than publishing individual-level records.
Is this a measure of civic knowledge or intelligence?
No. CIP measures instinctive orientation in governance tradeoffs, not factual literacy and not personal worth. It is one lens on civic reasoning, not a comprehensive verdict on a person.
